Couple considering why use a mortgage brokerIf you’ve never used a mortgage broker you’re probably thinking – why use a mortgage broker?Ask About Mortgages is a ‘whole of market’ mortgage broker which means we can compare rates and products across the whole of the market for you. Our panel of  lenders, the most recent additions being Sainsbury’s bank and the Post Office give our brokers access to 1000’s of mortgage products.

Working with lenders day in and day out means we have a good relationship with them and already know their lending criteria. Not all lenders are the same, far from it, but our extensive knowledge of their differing criteria means we can give you a head start knowing which ones will work best with your specific needs.

We’ll have a face to face meeting (s) with you and based on your requirements and financial situation we’ll search through this panel to find you the best interest rate for your lending.  We’ll also be able to advise you on the different products and which one best suits your specific circumstances. Meetings take place in either of our two Romsey offices, they last approximately 90 minutes and we will arrange them to suit you  –  out of hours and Saturday appointments aren’t a problem. If you have young children or have difficulty getting to us we can arrange to see you in your home or place of work.

Using Ask About Mortgages means you’ll have your own allocated broker who will be available to you throughout the process for face to face meetings and any telephone conversations for queries and questions.

We’ll liaise with the lender on your behalf, submitting all of your paperwork and speaking with the lender re any  queries or special circumstances. If you’re moving house or buying a new property we’ll also work with the estate agents and solicitors involved in the sale to keep things moving.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you’d like an appointment to discuss your requirements please contact us on 01794 328 365.
